Thank you for choosing Unyik Care for your hospital sitting needs. We appreciate the trust you place in us to provide compassionate, 24/7 support to minors in need. Please note that submitting a request does not automatically guarantee that a sitter will be available.
Your request will be reviewed, and if we have sitters available in the area to meet the requested hours, you will receive a confirmation via email and text, including an estimated arrival time. If we cannot fulfill the request due to sitter availability, we will notify you promptly via text. We encourage you to continue considering Unyik Care for future hospital sitter needs, as availability may vary based on demand. We will stay in touch through email with updates regarding sitter availability.
Important Notes:
Arrival Time: Depending on the location, please allow 1–3 hours for a sitter to arrive.
Required Forms: Sitters cannot be dispatched until we have received signed Forms 2054 and 5612. After confirmation of your request, please send these forms to supportservices@unyikcare.org. You may also text to notify us that the forms have been sent, although this is optional.
Extended Coverage: For extended sitter coverage, a new Form 2054 with updated hours must be submitted. If we cannot meet extended coverage needs due to a conflicting schedule, we will notify you, and alternative arrangements will need to be made once the current Form 2054 expires. While uncommon, we want expectations to be transparent.
